EN SONUNDA MALZEMELERIM GELDI! / MY GEAR MADE IT FINALLY!

En sonunda malzemelerime kavustum! Ogleden sonra otele gondereceklerini soylediler ama ben tabi ki daha fazla bekleyemeyecegim icin havaalanina gidip elden teslim aldim. Oh sukurler olsun. Bu aksam yola cikana kadar sadece 10 saatim kaldi hazirliklarimi bitirmem icin. Bu arada stresten dun farkedememisim, Bali havaaalani baya guzel bir mekanmis meger! :)

I got reunited with my gear finally! They told me they'd deliver the luggage to my hotel but I couldn't wait any longer so went to the airport and picked it up myself. Phew!!! I have only 10 hours left before we leave tonight. And I didn't notice this yesterday due to stress but today I saw how beautiful Bali airport is! :)

I am Professor of Marketing at San Francisco State University. I've also taught at University of Utah, American University-Beirut, Universite de Nice-Sophia Antipolis-France, University of Innsbruck-Austria, Bahcesehir University-Istanbul&Silicon Valley, and Bogazici University-Istanbul. 7-SUMMITS PROJECT

I have been climbing the highest mountains on every geographical continent, known as 7-Summits:

1. Asia - Everest, 8848m

2. South America - Aconcagua, 6962m

3. North America - McKinley, 6195m

4. Africa - Kilimanjaro, 5963m

5. Europe - Elbrus, 5642m

6. Oceania - Carstenz, 4484m

7. Antarctica - Vinson, 4897m

(& Australia - Kosciusko, 2228m)

Carstenz Peak is the real 7th summit with Oceania as the real continent but I keep Kosciusko in my list as well, which was part of the old list. I have already climbed 6 of them (in bold). Read its short story in Skylife Magazine of Turkish Airlines, November 2015.
